James House breaks the mold of songwriting every time, only to rebuild it to break it again. A widely respected songwriter in many genres, James has spent over two decades writing songs that have been honored with Grammys, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards, and countless other Billboard Chart-Toppers and finally, three songs collectively surpassed the BMI Certified Radio Spin 5 Million mark.

With an arsenal full of songs that have been giant hits for some of music’s most talented voices ranging from Diamond Rio to Dwight Yoakam to Martina McBride and it seems, he can’t be stopped.

As much success as he has had in the country market, James’ music has always been rooted in the blues. This shows in his natural transition from Music Row to Beale Street by working with guitarslinger Joe Bonamassa, Britain’s hot shot Joanne Shaw Taylor and the powerhouse voice of Beth Hart.

His taste for a robust visual and melodic approach he allows his guitar prowess, to blend in well with the blues. If you listen to a House song, they always have a blues and soul undertone.

As a singer, James’ voice has that rough soul that is his secret weapon as a writer and performer. As a guitar player, he lets his Fender Strat do the talking.
